The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all the necessary signals and also communicates with the vehicle. Compatible with conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights.
The parking assist and rear fog lights are automatically switched off when a trailer/bike carrier is connected and detected.
Thanks to the new trailer light control function, a notification is sent via the vehicle's instrument cluster if the rear, brake or indicator lights fail.
For your safety and convenience, other advanced vehicle driving assistance systems are also automatically deactivated when a trailer/bike carrier is connected and detected. For more information, please refer to the owner's manual or contact your dealer.
Available with 13-pole waterproof socket housing. An adapter is available for temporarily changing the vehicle's 13-pin connector to a 7-pin adapter for trailer/caravan): E919999137
