The installation utilises the vehicle's original connectors and a multi-function trailer module that amplifies all the necessary signals. Compatible with standard bulbs and LED trailer lights.
The Park Distance Warning system automatically deactivates when a trailer/carrier is connected and detected – just as the vehicle's rear fog lights automatically switch off when a trailer/carrier is connected and detected.
Thanks to the new trailer light control function, an alert is sent via the vehicle's instrument cluster when a rear, brake, or indicator light on the trailer is broken.
For your safety and convenience, other advanced driver assistance systems are also deactivated when a trailer or bike carrier is connected and detected. For more details, please refer to the owner's manual.
Available with 13-pole waterproof socket housing. An adapter is available to temporarily convert the vehicle's 13-pin connector to a 7-pin trailer/caravan adapter): E919999137
