The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and the trailer's multifunction module, which amplifies all the necessary signals. Compatible with both conventional bulbs and LED trailer lights and has an audible warning of a malfunctioning turn signal or trailer brake light. The vehicle's rear fog light automatically switches off when a trailer is attached.

Available with 7-pole socket with drainage holes to prevent water accumulation. An adapter is available for temporary change from 7-pole to 13-pole.7-pole (vehicle) to 13-pole (trailer/caravan) adapter: 55622ADB00, Reference image.

-OE connectors for Plug & Play connection (connection via ready connector)
-Trailer module with all important functions:
-Amplification of all required signals
-C2 function for trailer turn signals and brake lights (buzzer warning when bulbs are broken)
-Fog light is off
-Bulbs and LED lights on the trailer will be detected
-Safety feature: audible warning of defective broken trailer turn signals (legal requirement in Germany, Austria and the UK. Future standard for the rest of Europe)
-Safety function: audible warning of a faulty trailer brake light
