The installation uses the vehicle's original connectors and a multi-function module for the trailer. Compatible with standard bulbs and LED trailer lights.
The parking assist system switches off automatically when a trailer/bike carrier is connected and detected. The trailer lights are controlled from the vehicle, and the driver is informed if the trailer's direction indicators, trailer rear lights, or trailer brake lights are not working – an audible warning will also sound in the event of trailer direction indicator or brake light failure.
